Age: Upper limit is below 40
years
Qualification Master Degree in
Library Science/ Information Science with at least 55%
marks with 2 years experience in
appropriate field / level.
Desirable: knowledge of
computers and qualifying in the national level test
conducted for
the purpose by the UGC or any other similar agency approved
by the
UGC.
Application may be sent in the standard

accompanied by attested copies of certificates and application fee
ofRs. 300/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ST) through
demand draft in favour of “Accounts Officer, GKCIET, Malda”
payable at “Malda”. For the post of Professor, candidates should
furnish Academic Performance
Indicators (APIs) score as per AICTE
format. Candidates will be shortlisted as per short listing
criteria.
Merely fulfilling minimum qualifications may not
automatically entail a candidate to be called for the
interview.
Reservation policy of Govt. of India will be followed. The SC/ST/OBC
certificate in the
prescribed form only issued by the competent
authority declared by Govt. of India will be accepted as
proof in
support of claims. The posts reserved for PH shall be filled as per
Govt. of India norms. The last
