Profile Requirements
* The applicant should be a Bachelor in Science and Master in Library and Information Science with minimum of 5+ years of experience
* Candidates must have good knowledge of Open Source s/w (Drupal, KOHA, Wordpress etc.)
* Relevant experience in Pharma/ chemical industry is preferable
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Should be well versed with various databases especially in chemistry and biology.
Responsibilities
* Manage Library and routine operations like book purchase, cataloging, issue/return etc.
* Assist scientists in doing searches and provide document delivery service
* Manage various online systems like intranet, Library Management System, website, Portals etc.
* Manage Lab Note Books and Log Books including issue/return and archiving
* Create awareness about various online resources/databases and effective utilization of available resources
* Track and provide competitive Intelligence information to management
* Manage scientific s/w
