Essential educational qualification –
(a) Bachelor’s degree
(b) Degree in Library Science or a diploma for which degree is an admission requirement
(c) At least 2 years experience in Degree Library of College/University/Govt. Department/Autonomous
Organisations.
Age Limit – 28 years (Age relaxed as per Govt./ICHR Norms)

4.Marital Status 5.Date of Birth, 6.Permanent Address, 7.Present Address, 8.Telephone/Telephone
Number, 9.Email ID, 10.Educational Qualification, 11. Percentage of Marks/Grade obtained in
Qualifying Examinations, 12. Do you have desirable Qualifications for the Post (if any),
13.Experience, 14.Category viz. General/SC/ST/OBC/ Minorities/Physically Challenged
15.Languages known along with the copies of certificates /testimonials and recent passport size
photograph, all duly attested by Gazetted Officer, may be sent to The Member Secretary, Indian
Council of Historical Research, (Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of
India), 35, Ferozeshah Road, New Delhi 110 001, latest by 15th February 2014.
General Conditions: - 1. The post applied for should be clearly indicated in the application and
also superscribed on the envelope containing the application. 2. Candidates working in
Government organization/PSU should forward their applications through proper channel. 3. Age
relaxation would be provided as per the rules. 4. Any attempt to influence the Council in any
manner would disqualify the candidate. 5. Mere submission of application & fulfilling the
eligibility criterion would give no right to any person for interview/selection. 6. ICHR reserves the
right to apply any higher criteria to shortlist the candidates, 7. Number of vacancies may increase
or decrease depending upon the situation at the time of recruitment, 8. ICHR reserves the right not
to fill up any post without assigning any reason, 9. Selection Committee/Chairman, ICHR may
