Educational
Requirements: i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information
Science /documentation with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade
of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently Good Academic
Record. i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of
the two public examination / degrees immediately preceding the Master’s
degree. ii) 13 years of experience as Deputy Librarian in a University
Library or 18 years of experience as a college librarian. iii)
Consolidated API Score points as per the UGC regulation 2010 iv)
Evidence of Innovative Library service and organization of published
work.
Qualifications:
M.Phil. / Ph.D. degree in Library Science / information Science /
Documentation / Archives and Manuscript keeping.
