Job Description
Will
be responsible to establish and implement library and information
policies
Awareness
of and compliance with AICTE/UGC Norms
Manage
vendor development, books procurement and payment processes
Manage
digital / E-Books / Electronic Database procurement and management
Prepare
and manage the budget of Library
Prepare
and monitor the reports of Library
Develop
and maintain the collection management related policies
Ensure
an accurate inventory of resources
Responsible
for day to day efficient running of library
Acquisition,
Cataloguing and Classification of books
Maintenance
of a stock list and Record Keeping
Handling
all stacking of books, journals and periodicals and accounting for
their Stocking, Issue and Return
Maintaining
and Updating the databases with new arrivals of books, periodicals
and professional journals.
